ERA Team VP Real Estate Expands Ranks- 5 New Agents Join Firm Focused on Growth

ERA Team VP Real Estate is proud to announce the addition of Shane Zahm, Darcie McLachlan, Christopher & Talitha Mascelli, and Jason Genberg to its team of real estate sales professionals serving consumers in the Chautauqua County area.

Shane Zahm joins ERA Team VP as a rookie real estate agent who is already on pace for $1,000,000 in sales in his first year. He credits his early success to his background in construction, ranging from building and remodeling homes, working as a Housing Rehab Specialist, and a Cable Technician. Shane lives and works in the Fredonia area, but covers real estate activity in all of Chautauqua County and most of Cattaraugus County. He is very active in his community, coaching his daughter’s sports teams; Little Kickers soccer, U6 soccer, and Hathaway League baseball. “The highest compliment my clients can give me is the referral of their friends, family, and business partners,” said Zahm.

Darcie McLachlan comes to the Real Estate industry with over 15 years of retail business experience where she held a variety of roles, including 4 years of leading Marketing/Membership departments in different Walmart-owned club locations. McLachlan prides herself on her fantastic service and believes that her customer-focused and marketing backgrounds will be an asset to her clients. Originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania, she is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Art. Her career has taken her to various locations throughout the East Coast including Danville, VA; State College, PA; Greensburg, PA; Seabrook, NH; Everett, PA; and most recently Jamestown, NY. She notes that Chautauqua County has been her favorite place to live and work, and she is grateful to have the opportunity to move back and call it home once again. McLachlan is also very passionate about the community and avidly supports the Buffalo Children’s hospital and M.S. Chris and Talitha Mascelli join ERA Team VP with extensive experience in commercial real estate and construction, having previously worked with large market developers in both Erie, PA and Jamestown, NY. They have a combined 30 years of experience working in commercial real estate, development, and construction. They currently operate 2 construction consulting businesses that are assisting developers in both Jamestown, NY and Erie, PA with multi-million dollar office and retail projects in Chautauqua County. Chris and Talitha are excited to offer their real estate skills and experiences to assist developers and property owners with land and property acquisition projects anywhere. “It is our goal to be the premier Commercial Real Estate team in Chautauqua County. ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacation Rentals to Sponsor Ellicottville Halloween 5K & Half Marathon

ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacation Rentals is proud to announce its Bronze level sponsorship of the 2nd annual EVL Halloween Half Marathon & 5K to be held on October 24, 2015 in the charming and scenic community of Ellicottville, NY.

The 2015 edition of the race is expected to attract more than 1,500 conditioned athletes, runners and walkers as well as 3,000 spectators from around the country. The proceeds from the race benefit The Ellicottville Sport Boosters- a group dedicated to getting local children involved in athletics, as well as the local food pantry. Participants are invited to run in costume and enjoy other Halloween related activities.

Both the 5K and half marathon start and finish on Monroe St. in the Village of Ellicottville, which offers great shopping and restaurants for after race entertainment. The rolling course heads north through scenic, lightly traveled, rural roads that offer fast times and a great atmosphere.

ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacation Rentals Raises $9,000 for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)

Charlie Young, President & CEO of ERA Franchise Systems joins Bill Soffel, Broker/Owner of ERA Team VP for this year’s Agent of Hope Golf Tournament held on August 26, 2015.

112 Golfers participated in the 6th Annual Agents of Hope Scramble Golf Tournament, hosted by ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacation Rentals, to benefit the ALS Association and the ALS Division of MDA this past August at the Chautauqua Golf Club. The event, held every year on the last Wednesday of August, raised a total of $9,000.

Along with sponsorship opportunities there were many ways for the golfers to help raise money the day of the tournament. Featured on-course events included a Mojito Bar, Jell-O shot hole, betting hole, Arnold Palmer/John Daily Bar, Corn-Hole contest, and a prize wheel. Following the event, ERA hosted a steak dinner catered by Andriaccios, and included announcement of the tournament winners, a 50/50 drawing, and a raffle of over 65 items and gift certificates donated by local businesses.

“We’re delighted to host this friendly competition every year in order to show our company’s and our community’s true cooperation in supporting the efforts of the ALS Association and the ALS Division of MDA. Both organizations lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global cutting-edge research, and empower people with Lou Gehrig ’s disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support,” said Bill Soffel, Broker/Owner of ERA Team VP.

Rita White joins ERA Team VP with an extensive background in real estate sales and management. From 2002 through 2014, White was an Associate Broker and Real Estate Manager with Metro Zientek Realty in Arcade, NY, and since 2014 has been an Associate Broker and Career Development Specialist with Realty USA’s Arcade office. In addition to continuing her very successful listing and sales business, Rita will also serve the role as ERA Team VP Real Estate’s Branch Leader for the Yorkshire, NY office.
