Wonderful Getaway!

"Mimi's Cottage was a perfect respite. The location and views were outstanding - we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful lakefront. The short walk to Chautauqua Institution was one we took every day. The house was well-appointed and well stocked. We cooked at "home" most nights and so enjoyed our evenings by the water. The owners were kind and gracious and gave us great information and background on the area. We so enjoyed our time visiting with Jim and Mimi during our time there. We appreciated that we were able to bring our yellow lab - he enjoyed swimming in the clear, warm waters of Chq Lake! Having a dock available was key, as we brought our boat with us. We would definitely stay there again!"

Mimis Cottage

"Summer Haven is exactly as advertised. It's a beautiful home, right on the water, with the best views on the Lake. The owners were very welcoming and kind. Their cottage is next to their home and they have put a ton of love and time into their property. It was quiet, serene, and relaxing. The location is close to the Institute, restaurants, and shops. Mayville is by far the best spot on the lake. It's a short drive to Bemus Point and Jamestown. The home was comfortable and provided lots of towels, bedding, and comfort. I gave the cost 4 stars as it's so expensive to rent any property today. If the cost remains the same next year, we'd LOVE to return! Also, thank you for allowing our pets to come with us. They are family and it wouldn't be a vacation without them. Truly appreciate the inclusion of furry pets. Thanks!"
