ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacation Rentals Announces Participation in the “Feed the Need” Campaign

ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacation Rentals announced its collaboration with ERA Real Estate and other ERA affiliated brokerages across the country to join together in their “Feed the Need” initiative, a national campaign to fight against hunger. The campaign will kick off on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, also known as #GivingTuesday. Furthermore, it will work in tandem with the national hunger-fighting non-profit organization Move For Hunger.

ERA Team VP is hosting a community initiative to gather non-perishable and unused food items for local food pantries. This is part of an overall effort to help stock food pantries nationwide in advance of the holiday season.

Additionally, ERA Team VP will have collection boxes at nine of their offices from November 27 through December 11.

Move For Hunger is dedicated to improving the accessibility of food to individuals and families who are food insecure. ERA Team VP Denim Day Challenge

Chautauqua, NY (September 26, 2018) – ERA Team VP Real Estate and Vacation Rentals challenges local businesses to partake in the ERA Team VP Denim Days to support the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer.

This timely business to business challenge will take place on Friday, October 5 – during breast cancer awareness month. Denim Days invites businesses to donate $5 or more to wear jeans to work. ERA Team VP challenges local businesses to participate in Denim Days and contribute to this important fundraiser. Nationwide, Denim Days has raised over $96 million. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer.

“We are aware that many of us have incorporated the casual lifestyle into our everyday attire, however we are encouraging businesses and their employees to make a simple $5 contribution on this one day of giving,” Bill Soffel, ERA Team VP Real Estate and Vacation Rentals Broker/Owner.

Businesses are encouraged to participate by using the hashtag #B2BDenimDayChallenge. All donations will go directly to the American Cancer Society.

The National Comedy Center is a world-class attraction based on the celebration of comedy.

The $50 million cultural institution is in the Western New York city of Jamestown and tells the story of comedy from its origins to the present with a mix of interactive exhibits, a hologram theater, and comedy artifacts such as the late George Carlin’s archives.

The center was inspired by Lucille Ball, who starred as accident-prone Lucy Ricardo on the 1950s sitcom, ‘I Love Lucy.’ Jamestown has a museum dedicated to Ball, who said she wanted to see all comedy celebrated as an art form in her hometown of Jamestown, NY.

ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacations Rentals is excited to announce the promotion of Rachael Wiley-Steffen to Chief Operating Officer, effective October 1. Previously she served as the Director of Corporate Marketing & Vacation Rental Management. Rachael has been part of the ERA team for the past two and a half years.

In her new position, Rachael will oversee all internal operations, execute ERA Team VP’s annual business plan, and will maximize the performance of ERA Team VP’s real estate, vacation rental, and marketing activities. This is a newly created position for ERA Team VP.

ERA Team VP Real Estate & Vacation Rentals was proud to collaborate with Hollyloft Ski and Bike to announce their new “Bikeshare Program” at the Chautauqua Institution ERA Team VP office on 1 Morris Avenue. The collaboration will benefit a local animal rescue group, New Leash on Life (NLOL).

As part of the program, ERA Team VP purchased used vintage style bicycles from Hollyloft to be used on the grounds at the Chautauqua Institution for appointments, showings, and vacation rentals. Hollyloft refurbished the bicycles and worked with ERA Team VP to design the promotional artwork displayed on the bikes.

Hollyloft currently partners with NLOL to benefit the homeless pets in our communities. Throughout the year Hollyloft seeks used bicycle donations from the community, to be sold for scrap metal, used for parts, or to be fixed up and resold, with all proceeds to benefit NLOL.

“For the past 5 years, Hollyloft has taken in used bikes to benefit the local animal rescue, NLOL in Celoron, NY,” says Seri Beeson, Hollyloft Ski & Bike. “This home rescue will see hundreds of animals of all types in a given year, and the proceeds from the used bike sales help with the cost of a variety of medical expenses.
